THE OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a Senior Backend Software Engineer to our Professional Services team in Brazil!

Within our Professional Services team, we are steadfastly committed to crafting tailored solutions that address the unique requirements of our clients. Every day, we convene with teams from diverse regions to collaborate on revenue strategies and pioneering approaches to enhance the Wellhub product for our partners.

You'll collaborate closely with the product manager to shape the new Wellhub integration product architecture. Your focus will be on process automation and delivering bespoke reports. Moreover, we are embarking on an exciting internal migration project, necessitating the integration of over 90 connectors into this new programming environment.

We are in search of a professional with a leadership mindset, capable of suggesting enhancements and fostering communication between the technical team and the product development team. YOUR IMPACT

  • Serve as a technical reference for an international team in building robust APIs and integrations across various systems to ensure successful project implementation.
  • Mentor and guide team members, promoting best practices in backend development and database management.
  • Engage in client-facing activities, and participate in meetings along with your Product Manager where internal and external clients will explain the scenarios, map demands, perform validations, and more.
  • Drive the creation of detailed reports and provide insights to stakeholders.
  • Oversee data manipulation and transformation according to client preferences.
  • Ensure the tracking of tasks and documentation of deliverables.
  • Identify and implement business and process improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor business metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience as a Senior in backend development and database management.
  • Expertise in version control (GIT) and proficiency in Clean Code and development best practices.
  • Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, NodeJS, and TypeScript.
  • Extensive experience with SQL/NoSQL technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, and MongoDB, understanding common use cases and performance pitfalls.
  • Proficient in working with AWS cloud services, containers, and serverless architectures (Lambdas).
  • Experienced in creating and maintaining high-traffic APIs (handling thousands of requests per second).
  • Skilled in monitoring, observability, and KPIs tracking (using tools like Bulldog, Grafana).
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge.
  • Advanced/Fluent English proficiency both written and spoken.
  • Client-facing skills with a proven track record of effectively managing client relationships.
  • Previous involvement in international projects.
