About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Marketing Director that oversees several functions for the Small & Business Banking (SBB) Marketing Team. The role will lead a team responsible for establishing the messaging and positioning of Wells Fargo’s Small & Business Banking products and services and will partner closely with the brand management team. The role has ownership of the WellsFargo.com Small & Business Banking content, customer journey flows, functionality, and conversion rates.This is a new role within the newly formed SBB Marketing organization, responsible for driving new customer and deposit balance growth profitably via effectively leading a team of program managers/ strategists, channel, and optimization experts. This role is critical in helping SBB deliver on new-customer growth and deposit growth target via effective development and implementation of acquisition strategies across all key customer segments as well as identifying new business opportunities to drive increased scale and profitability while delivering customer-obsessed experiences.This person must be highly influential leading a team directly as well as a cross-functional team, including both internally and externally, while also being able to partner effectively with other marketing leaders across CSBB, Business Credit Card, and the other lines-of-business.Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.comIn this role, you will:• Lead a team of program managers/ strategists, channel, and optimization experts to acquire new customers via full funnel marketing channels• Review analytical results daily to deliver business results and customer-obsessed experiences• Build new, enhanced marketing strategies and capabilities across on-us and paid media channels to acquire prospective small & business banking customers profitably• Provide leadership, mentorship, and development to a team of Growth Marketing program managers/ strategists, channel, and optimization experts• Provide ongoing performance updates to CSBB CMO, SBB leadership team, and other C-suite level executives• Collaborate with various partners, stakeholders, and senior leaders to deliver new customers and balance goals• Identify new business opportunities, including digital capabilities to increase scale and profitability across digital acquisition strategies• Build offer strategy including the launch of cash offers program which provides incentives for new customers to join Wells Fargo• Manage allocation of people, justify investments, and optimize financial resources for MarketingRequired Qualifications:• 10+ years of Marketing, Digital Marketing, Digital Platforms, or Social Media experience, or equivalent• 7+ years of Management experienceDesired Qualifications:• 10+ years’ experience in leading marketing strategy with a focus on customer acquisitions, performance marketing, and digital channels• Expert in direct marketing, paid and organic search channels• Strong analytical understanding and business acumen• Ability to attract, retain and develop top diverse talent• Strong presentation skills including with senior/C-suite level leadership• Must be able to successfully navigate a highly-matrixed environment• Highly collaborative and can effectively lead a cross-functional team including both internal and external (agency) partners• Must thrive in a fast-paced environment• Experience in retail banking, preferably Small & Business BankingJob Expectations:• This position will require onsite presence at one of the locations listed below in a hybrid work schedule• This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.Locations:• 401 S.
