About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking an Investment Portfolio Control Associate for the Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) Investment Risk team. The WIM Investment Risk team is a unit within the WIM Investment Solutions Center of Excellence. WIM Investment Risk is responsible for the design, implementation, and execution of the WIM Investment Risk program which sets the standards and requirements for investment activities when acting as fiduciary. Programs include investment portfolio, product and individual security risk monitoring. This role supports the Fiduciary and Trust Services business, including the high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth client segments. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.In this role, you will:• Partner with the relevant business group across the organization to identify, assess, manage and mitigate current and emerging investment risk• Review and analyze basic portfolio risk and serves as a subject matter expert for measuring and managing investment risk• Exercise independent judgment to guide medium risk deliverables• Present recommendations for resolving moderately complex activities related to assessing portfolio risk exposures• Collaborate and consult with functional colleagues, internal and external partners and stakeholders regarding investment risk• Execute controls to identify and escalate Fiduciary, Investment, and regulatory risks present in managed Trust Services portfolios• Present to business partners and leaders to inform of key risk topics, policy/procedure updates, and progress on key risk initiatives• This role may include leveraging sophisticated third-party tools and internal reporting to perform analysis and provide reportingRequired Qualifications:• 2+ years of investment portfolio control experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:• 2+ years of experience identifying investment risks and developing remediation plans• Experience working with Trust or Fiduciary investments• Proven analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy• Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work in a dynamic and complex environment• Experience building effective partnerships to achieve goals to meet deadlines• Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills, including Excel• A BS/BA degree or higher in finance, accounting, or economics• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation or demonstrated progress toward the designation• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsJob Expectations:• This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship• This position offers a hybrid work scheduleWork Locations:• 550 South Tryon Street - Charlotte, NC 28202• 2801 Market Street - St. Louis, MO 63103• 550 South 4th Street - Minneapolis, MN 55415• 795 Wells Fargo Trail - West Des Moines, IA 50266• 5201 West Amelia Earhart Drive - Salt Lake City, UT 84116• 1445 Ross Avenue - Dallas, TX 75202• 8601 N Scottsdale Rd - Scottsdale, AZ 85253Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position.
