About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in the Digital Technology and Innovation group which supports evolving digital platforms and enhances integration of the innovation pipeline into our customer-facing capabilities.Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.comIn this role, you will:• Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact• Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs• Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors• Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives• Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals• Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentorRequired Qualifications, US:• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education• 5+ years of Software Development experience with architecting, designing and developing iOS or Android mobile applications• 4 + years of iOS or Android development experience• 3+ years of mobile solutions engineering experience• 3+ years experience in Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, 2.1 or a combination of bothDesired Qualifications:• 5+ years of leadership experience• 2+ years of experience working in an agile environment• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills• Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas• Knowledge and understanding of application and web security• Knowledge and understanding of technology performance: analysis and tuning for applicationsJob Expectations:• This role is not eligible for Visa sponsorship• This role is not eligible for relocation assistance• This is not a remote position• Ability to work additional hours as needed• Ability to travel up to 5% of the timeLocations:• 794 Davis St., San Leandro, CA• 333 Market Street, San Francisco, CAPay Range:California locations only- $133,300- $327,100 AnnualBenefits:• Information about Wells Fargo's US employee benefits• Information about Wells Fargo's International employee benefitsPosting End Date:09 Oct 2024• Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants• All offers for employment with Wells Fargo are contingent upon the candidate having successfully completed a criminal background check.
