The Compliance and Operations Analyst will play a critical role in safeguarding operational integrity, ensuring the company meets evolving security and risk compliance standards (e.g., SOC2), managing insurance and risk obligations, and navigating legal requirements across the U.S., Australia, the U.K., and Canada.
This position partners closely with HR, Legal, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to embed risk practices into daily operations, enabling the company to grow securely and sustainably. Beyond compliance, you will also support general business operations as needed. Your work will help ensure the organization operates ethically, securely, and efficiently while scaling in the zero-emissions space.
Key Responsibilities
Support and manage compliance initiatives, including SOC2 audits and certifications.
Assist in developing, updating, and maintaining internal policies and procedures.
Conduct regular risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
Maintain audit-ready documentation and ensure alignment with global regulatory standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, Legal, Finance) to support risk and compliance operations.
Manage insurance documentation and liaise with providers across multiple jurisdictions.
Monitor regulatory developments and advise on potential risks and required actions.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of compliance and operational processes.
Must-Haves:
1- 2 years of experience in risk management, compliance, audit, legal operations, or governance.
Strong ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate across global teams.
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience supporting SOC2 compliance audits or implementation.
Familiarity with insurance and risk management frameworks across jurisdictions (e.g., U.S., Australia).
Knowledge of international compliance laws and regulations (U.S., Australia, U.K., and/or Canada).
