We are a close-knit, lean team, and we’re excited for you to help us compete against the largest appliance and consumer product companies in the world!Job Description:Are you the right fit to own and grow the Windmill brand (on social and otherwise)?You want to truly own a brand and its development over the years, with a lot of trust and flexibility along the way. You know the “who’s who” of TikTok and Instagram and enjoy discovering new people, brands, and products online. You know the ins-and-outs of creator/influencer sourcing and management (and can optimize our whitelisting and affiliate programs). You’re not daunted by the idea of building out a content studio - creating content yourself and sourcing content from… well anywhere you think is good! You have a gifted visual eye and a keen sense for elevated brand creative that converts.Did we find you!? We’re excited to chat.Responsibilities:Like most social media managers, you’ll:• Manage all social media accounts (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) including content creation, scheduling, and engagement• Monitor social media trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and growth• Cultivate and nurture a vibrant online community by actively engaging with followers, responding to comments/messages, and fostering positive interactions• Expand our influencer community with high impact creators, grow our affiliate network, and coordinate our whitelisting campaigns• Plan and execute social media campaigns, contests, and promotions to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention• Analyze social media metrics and KPIs to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media tools, trends, and best practices, and implement innovative strategies to stay ahead of the curveAnd, as importantly, we’ll really need you to:• Re-imagine how we get high-quality content for paid and organic use at scale• Create compelling content that drives engagement, either by yourself, with graphic designers, or via other content creators• Act as a brand ambassador and advocate for Windmill in all interactions with brand partners, customers, and influencers• Reach out to and partner with other brands that elevate Windmill’s presence in the world• Stand out in a crowded marketplace (open ended for a reason!) and completely break the internet :)Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.• Proven experience with 3+ years in social media and influencer management, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with a keen eye for detail• Strong creative and visual storytelling abilities with proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)• Deep understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic work environment.• Experience with social media analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics)• Passion for building and nurturing online communities and engaging with diverse audiences.• Proactive mindset with a track record of taking initiative and driving results• Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances with resilience and a positive attitudeBenefits:• Competitive salary• Flexible work hours• Opportunities for professional growth and development• Vibrant and collaborative work culture
