We are looking for a Benefits and Compensation Manager to join our team. The goal of this role at Wisk is to ensure that we are supporting our employees with the benefits they need, we are being competitive with our compensation & benefit offerings, and administering these programs and processes. You will be part of the Total Rewards & People Operations team. 


This is a hybrid work opportunity. At Wisk, this means working onsite at our Mountain View, CA office 3 days per week with flexibility for the remainder of the days. 


In this role you will collaborate with the Sr Manager of Total Rewards & People Operations to develop and deliver market leading, competitive, and creative benefits programs to attract and retain top talent. Analyze current benefit trends, make recommendations for changes, and execute those plans seamlessly. Communication both internally and externally is very important for employee and vendor management as well as supporting compensation projects as they relate to Wisk’s Total Rewards program will be just a few expectations of this role. 


What you will do:
  • You will take part in re-evaluating, implementing, and maintaining our US benefit plans and processes.
  • You will help support compensation efforts in regards to Wisk’s annual merit cycle.
  • You have administered workers’ compensation processes and have knowledge of how timely these processes need to be.
  • You will help support current Total Rewards programs such as AwardCo, BrightFunds, and look for new ways for Wisk to reward/recognize team members.
  • You will manage the Wisk’s US retirement fund through Fidelity ensuring compliance with IRS regulations. You have knowledge of ERISA regulations and have gone through 401k audits in past experiences.
  • You will collaborate with HR Business Partner’s and employees who take a leave of absence (LOA), ensuring they are utilizing Wisk’s benefit plans to their full extent, and tracking leaves appropriately.
  • You can analyze and resolve benefits inquiries from employees and people leaders.
  • Create communications to explain changes in benefits to employees and answer employee queries about benefits policies.
  • Manage the billing and payment process for benefits vendors.
  • Work closely with Benefits and Payroll vendors to ensure all electronic data files are set up for accuracy and efficiency.


Requirements:
  • You have at least 5 years working with employee benefits programs and at least 7 years Total Rewards or Human Resources experience.
  • A plus if you are a Certified Benefits Professional or similar designation.
  • You have worked in technology or aerospace companies. 
  • You have hands-on experience managing benefit plans, health & wellness programs, retirement plans (knowledge of ERISA regulations), compliance reporting such as 5500’s, non-discrimination testing, workers compensation reporting, and ACA reporting.
  • You have a deep and applied knowledge of Workday, Google Email, Docs & Sheets, Excel, VLookup, Radford, and compliance around various leaves of absence.
  • A successful candidate will be highly organized, self starter, detail oriented, and collaborative.
  • This role does not require travel 


$141,600 - $166,600 a year
Compensation and Benefits:

Pay Range the Company expects to pay: $141,600 - $166,600 per year - The starting base salary within this range for this role varies based on factors such as your geographical location, and your relevant job-related experience that is consistent with a business necessity.

Wisk HQ is located in Mountain View just a couple of hundred feet from Shoreline Lake and its surrounding walking/jogging trails.
