The Digital Media Specialist provides video production support for the Multimedia Team in the form of filming and editing.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES• Serve as the Digital Asset Management (DAM) resource for WWP and provide guidance on methods and processes to teammates to ensure the successful archival of WWP assets.• Archive photos, footage, and other digital assets, including videos hosted on the web, by performing uploads and applying metadata to each digital asset.• Organize digital assets for various departments, teams, and special projects.• Maintain and enhance digital library processes. Inform primary users of new updates and ensure the effective and efficient delivery of training and support sessions with main users.• Provide in-house multimedia production support, including camera operations, lighting setup, audio equipment management, and still photography with a DSLR.• Assist with office multimedia equipment management, maintaining records of serial numbers, acquisition dates, and warranties.• Perform beginner to intermediate non-linear video editing and photo editing tasks.• Transcribe video files in support of the Multimedia Team.• Encode large video files for optimal archiving.• Lead the digital conversion of archival material and communicate to key stakeholders once assets have been archived.• Other related duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES• Proven working understanding of Digital Access Management (DAM) solution services and processes.• Exhibited knowledge of media storage solutions.• Displayed familiarity with media-related software, especially Adobe Creative Cloud.• Shown ability to use various modules of integrated library systems.• Proficient in using Microsoft Office on both Mac and Windows platforms.• Adept at identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues efficiently.• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with a strong attention to detail in fast-paced environments.• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to collaborate effectively with internal teammates and external resources.• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve tasks and goals.• Unequivocal commitment to the highest standards of personal and business ethics and conduct.• Mission-driven, guided by core values, and a pleasure to work with.EXPERIENCERequirements• Two years of experience coordinating digitization projects.• Two years of experience working with digital archiving, multimedia, or in an audiovisual setting.• One year of experience maintaining relationships with vendors.Preferences• Three years of experience working with Premiere Pro or similar software.EDUCATIONRequirements• Bachelor’s degree.
