What’s the role?  

The Manager, Business Process Excellence – Plan to Produce plays a pivotal role in overseeing the comprehensive production planning and execution processes within the SAP S/4HANA framework. This position is essential for driving operational efficiency and effectiveness across all facets of production operations, including supply chain planning, production scheduling, and maintenance management. The Manager will leverage SAP S/4HANA’s advanced functionalities to optimize workflows, enhance data visibility, and facilitate seamless collaboration among cross-functional teams. By implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives, this role ensures that production processes align with organizational goals, meet customer demands, and adhere to quality and compliance standards. The Manager will also serve as a key leader in change management, guiding teams through the transformation journey to maximize the benefits of the SAP S/4HANA implementation.

Here’s what you’ll do:  

Comprehensive Product Development Integration with SAP S/4HANA: Oversee the integration and optimization of product development tools and systems, including CAD, within the SAP S/4HANA environment. Ensure seamless connectivity and data flow across all stages of product development, leveraging SAP capabilities to enhance efficiency and reduce time to market. Utilize SAP’s advanced data management features to streamline processes and improve collaboration among teams. 

Advanced Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) in SAP S/4HANA: Lead the management and continuous improvement of the product lifecycle process using SAP S/4HANA’s PLM functionalities. This includes overseeing engineering changes, version control, and ensuring all product modifications comply with market and regulatory standards. Facilitate cross-functional teams in leveraging SAP tools to proactively address lifecycle challenges and capitalize on opportunities. 

Strategic Project and Portfolio Management with SAP Analytics: Develop and execute comprehensive project management strategies that align with organizational goals, utilizing SAP S/4HANA’s project management and portfolio management capabilities. Manage portfolio activities related to new products, including milestone planning, resource allocation, and budget management. Employ SAP’s advanced analytics to predict project outcomes and dynamically adjust strategies based on real-time data insights. 

Enhanced Product Safety and Compliance Oversight through SAP Solutions: Champion the development and implementation of rigorous product safety and compliance protocols within the SAP S/4HANA framework. Incorporate sustainability into product design and manufacturing processes by utilizing SAP’s compliance management tools. Regularly review and update compliance practices to meet evolving global standards, ensuring alignment with SAP’s regulatory reporting features. 

Leadership in Change Management and Process Optimization with SAP S/4HANA: Mentor and guide teams through significant transformation initiatives related to the SAP S/4HANA implementation, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Implement strategic plans effectively, ensuring robust change management practices that align with long-term corporate objectives and maximize the benefits of the SAP S/4HANA system. 

Do you qualify?  

Master’s degree in engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration. Proven track record in managing large-scale projects, especially in production planning and SAP ERP transformations.  

Exceptional leadership and strategic thinking skills 

Strong leadership and strategic planning skills, coupled with robust analytical and organizational capabilities. 

Nice to Haves: 

Advanced project management capabilities.  

Robust analytical and decision-making skills. 

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working with diverse teams and influencing  leadership.  

Proficient in change management, capable of driving change across the organization. 

The annual pay range for this position is $140,000 – $160,000

The pay offered for this role may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, & complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent.
