We are looking for a Hardware and Infrastructure Product Owner to join the Zivaro team and work at our northern Colorado Springs office!  This position will help contribute to our Mission Engineering team environment with other systems, software and specialty engineers to develop solutions that include a background in all aspects of the systems engineering life cycle. You will be part of a talented team of engineers that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security. 


Responsibilities
  • Lead the technical direction for the Hardware Engineering team, aligning with overall project objectives 
  • Work closely with the Hardware Engineering and Infrastructure teams to design, develop, and deploy new solutions 
  • Analyze technical trad-offs and make informed decisions regarding hardware selection, architecture, and scaling 
  • Monitor system health, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies 
  • Proactively assess future hardware needs and plan for capacity scaling 
  • Create and maintain a long-term technical vision for hardware and infrastructure, considering future technology trends and capacity needs. 
  • Effectively communicate with cross-functional teams(developers, operations, security) to align on product roadmap and priorities. 
  • Leading the team through Program Delivery Increment (PDI) Planning and ensure they meet technical and schedule objectives, identify risks and dependencies, identify and/or write features/stories for the PDI, work across teams to understand and address dependencies, and brief Program Leadership and Government Customer on PDI Plan 
  • Work with Leadership to communicate any challenges, roadblocks to the team, or issues with team performance 
  • Implementing high quality solutions with extreme attention to detail in delivery and documentation. 
  • Able to prioritize, execute, and delegate tasks in a high-pressure, dynamic environment. 
  • Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Must have strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. 


Qualifications
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience
  • Familiarity with servers, storage devices, networking equipment, and their technical specifications (CPU, memory, bandwidth, etc.) 
  • Ability to design and understand complex system architectures, including distributed systems and high-availability configurations 
  • Previous experience as a Technical Product Owner 
  • Understanding of software development processes and ability to collaborate with development teams on integration aspects 
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure services and their capabilities in managing hardware and network resources 
  • Proven experience working in Agile environments, managing product backlogs, and prioritizing features within sprint cycles 
  • Ability to translate business needs into detailed technical requirements for hardware and infrastructure projects 


Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor of Science preferred 
  • Minimum Secret Clearance 
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for most positions at Zivaro, due to security clearance and government/federal contracts held by Zivaro.  


$150,000 - $190,000 a year
