Position Overview:
The Director, Marketing Services and Solutions will lead and execute the strategic marketing initiatives for Zones services and solutions portfolio. This role is responsible for driving awareness, demand, and growth of IT services, ensuring alignment with sales, product, and delivery teams. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the IT services industry, a proven track record in B2B marketing, and expertise in positioning complex solutions to targeted audiences.
What you’ll do as the Director, Marketing Services and Solutions:

- Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for IT services and solutions, aligned with Zones growth objectives and customer needs. Set priorities, allocate resources, and manage budgets to optimize marketing impact.
- Demand Generation: Drive lead generation programs across channels (digital, content marketing, events, etc.) to acquire, engage, and nurture prospects. Oversee campaign performance and refine strategies based on data-driven insights.
- Brand and Messaging: Craft compelling messaging and positioning that differentiates the company's services and solutions in the marketplace. Ensure consistent and powerful storytelling across all channels and campaigns.
- Content Development: Oversee the creation of high-quality marketing content (case studies, white papers, blog posts, webinars, etc.) to educate potential clients and highlight the value of Zone’s services and solutions.
- Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Conduct regular research on market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to adjust marketing strategies and maintain competitive positioning.
- Sales Enablement: Collaborate closely with sales teams to ensure alignment on messaging, provide tools (sales decks, case studies, product sheets), and deliver training on product positioning and buyer personas.
- Partner Marketing: Work with strategic partners to co-market joint solutions, develop co-branded assets, and participate in joint events to expand market reach.
- Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze key performance metrics for marketing initiatives to optimize performance. Provide regular reporting to senior leadership and recommend improvements based on results.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals. Foster a collaborative and innovative environment, driving continuous improvement and professional development.
What you will bring to the team:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- 12+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with a focus on IT services, solutions, or related fields
- Proven experience in building and executing demand generation and brand-building strategies
- Strong understanding of IT services, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and managed services
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in creating customer-facing messaging and presentations
- Proficiency with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms (e.g., HubSpot, D365, Google Analytics)
- Demonstrated experience in managing cross-functional teams and working collaboratively with sales, product, and delivery teams
- Experience in managing partner marketing relationships with technology or service partners
- Familiarity with SEO/SEM, digital advertising, and social media marketing
- Strong project management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
