You’re going to want to be a part of the Dallas Regional Medical Center Team!!!  As a member of Prime Healthcare, we offer incredible opportunities to expand your horizons and be a part of a community dedicated to making a difference.  We are a 202- bed acute hospital accredited by the joint Commission that offer a wide range of medical services including 24/7 emergency care, cardiology, wound care, surgical services, cardiac catheterization, and imaging.  The hospital is the on Certified Stroke Center, Accredited Chest Pain Center and labor and Delivery unit in the area.  In addition, Dallas Regional is the only Trauma Center for 13 miles and was the first accredited Geriatric Emergency Room in Dallas County.  The hospital os a recipient of Healthgrades Patient Safety Excellence Awards, 15 Healthgrades Five-Star rating over the past three years.

Responsibilities

Ultrasound Technologist demonstrates competency in performing all ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation. Positions patient and equipment and produce an appropriate recording. The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region required within 90 days of hire and maintain.2. Graduate an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as identified in #1 and graduation within 90 days of hire.3. Previous experience preferred.4. Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.5. Proficient computer skills
