Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Location: Woodbridge, New Jersey

Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $60,000 to $75,000 + benefits

Position Overview:

We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient clinic. In this role, you will assist licensed Physical Therapists in providing rehabilitative services and work as an integral part of a collaborative team. You'll help deliver personalized therapy treatments, track progress, and empower patients to improve their mobility and overall well-being.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you'll play a crucial role in delivering hands-on care and helping patients regain their independence.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist Physical Therapists with implementing individualized treatment plans.
  • Perform therapeutic exercises, modalities, and functional training under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
  • Monitor patients’ progress, document outcomes, and report any concerns or changes in condition to the supervising PT.
  • Educate and guide patients on exercises and home programs.
  • Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure consistent and comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with clinic standards.

  • Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in New Jersey (required)
  • Graduate of an accredited PTA program
  • Previous experience in an outpatient setting preferred, but not required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
  • Enthusiasm for patient care and helping others achieve their rehabilitation goals
