About The Position |
Work closely with stakeholders to identify key content performance metrics, frameworks, and insights for our digital brand and content operations teams
Analyze investment and performance of content types to conduct ROI analyses, develop short- and long- term content planning to maximize efficiency and drive revenue/audience growth
Meet frequently with General Managers / brand leads to review monthly spending estimates, working to understand any discrepancies and develop processes and strategies to maximize spend and stay within budget parameters
Proactively, and on a frequent and regular basis, debrief and collaborate with key stakeholders (including the Head of Video, GMs, Chief Growth Officer, and COO) on key findings and proposed responsive actions
Develop reference materials and/or presentations that inform stakeholders, including dashboards and/or monthly reports that can be distributed
Support annual strategic planning efforts

The Role’s Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements
Education:
Bachelors degree
Experience:
[2-5] years of relevant experience in a top management consulting, investment bank, and/or media/entertainment/tech company in a strategic/analytical role
Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications and Abilities:
Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with an ability to apply data to drive decision-making
Candidate must be motivated, disciplined, flexible, and able to work independently
Proactive and possess a high level of intellectual curiosity with the ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced, growth environment
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with experience collaborating across multi-functional groups
Exceptional communications skills, ability to present effectively, ability to summarize detailed and complex findings for both junior and senior leader audiences at the company
High aptitude and enthusiasm for complex problem solving utilizing financial modeling and analysis
Strength in using Microsoft / Excel / GSuite skills, including ability to pivot and use complex Excel / Gsheet formulas to organize data
Ability to distill complex information data sets and synthesize output for analysis
Passion for content / digital media; prior experience in media/entertainment a plus, but not a prerequisite

Pay Range
Salary: New York: $130,000.00 - $156,000.00The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith’s total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
