Video Editing Service Project Manager

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee the workflow of our Video Editing Department.

This role is crucial in managing client communication, ensuring quality control, and streamlining the editing process to meet our monthly goal of 120-130 delivered edits. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with a strong understanding of video editing workflows and project management tools.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am to 5:00pm PST 

• Client Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for 5-10 consistent clients and 1-3 new inquiries per week. 
• Manage client inquiries, updates, and feedback through SPP site, Portal (if applicable), Monday.com, and Slack. 
• Provide prompt and professional responses to ensure a smooth client experience. 
• Managing Revisions: Review client revision requests and communicate them clearly to the assigned video editors. 
• Ensure revisions align with project scope and feasibility—proactively addressing requests that cannot be made and offering alternative solutions. 
• Project Expectations & Workflow Management: Set and communicate clear expectations on turnaround times and song choices with both clients and the editing team. 
• Oversee project timelines to ensure deadlines are consistently met. 
• Identify potential bottlenecks in the workflow and collaborate with the team to optimize efficiency. 
• Quality Assurance & Deliverables: Review each completed video before delivery to ensure all client notes have been addressed and that there are no obvious errors. 
• Conduct a final quality check to ensure videos meet standards before submission. 
• Deliver final projects to clients via SPP site and Slack, ensuring seamless and timely delivery.

• 2+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a video production or post-production environment. 
• Familiarity with video editing workflows (experience in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve is a plus). 
• Proficiency in Monday.com, Slack, and SPP (or similar project management and communication tools). 
• Excellent communication and client management skills. 
• Ability to multitask and handle a high volume of projects in a fast-paced environment. 
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality control.
