This Product Owner will be a key member of our global team, working directly with our US clients on mission critical engagements.


The Product Owner is responsible for ensuring the development team is consistently fed with high quality stories. In particular, this includes working closely with clients to understand requirements, writing and prioritizing user stories and ensuring the delivery team (engineers) clearly understands the what and the why of what we’re building.  The Product Owner will work closely and partner with global delivery teams (Engineering) and the Client Services team to support delivery execution efforts; to consult with clients on business challenges; deliver best of breed products using Agile practices; and drive growth.🚀💻


Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the Product Manager, deliver the highest priority features on the product roadmap that are aligned to the product vision and organizational priorities
  • Assist in development of sprint and deployment plans aligned to our product’s go-to-market strategy, defining feature set releases that deliver value to our customers 
  • Collaborate with Product Manager(s) to gather and monitor data on product usage and user behaviors to inform prioritization of features 
  • Work with the team to identify and execute upon opportunities for continuous improvement of team dynamics, enjoyment, and performance in an environment of collaboration and innovation
  • Work with dual-track design and development agile teams that are geographically dispersed in the world. 
  • Document requirements and acceptance criteria for features, epics, and stories. The product team should contribute to the writing, but the PO owns accepting the story.
  • Own the backlog, maintain consistent prioritization of work, and facilitate backlog refinement with the on-site development team(s). 
  • Attend and actively participate in ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review/demo, retrospective ceremonies with design and development teams 
  • Collaborate with Design Research to lead ongoing user interviews, usability tests, A/B tests, etc. and share key findings with the team(s) 
  • Report up and out on initiative health and risks, triaging issues when needed, and developing a regular cadence of communications 
  • Work with internal stakeholders such as Accessibility, Customer Service, Communications, Data Governance, Legal, L and A (Learning and Assessment), Information Security, Marketing, and Risk Management to capture relevant requirements and priorities to inform the product design and architecture


Minimum Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst or Scrum Product Owner.
  • 3+ years of experience working with technical teams, SME’s and stakeholders
  • Minimum of 3 years Consulting experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize large amounts of detailed information.
  • Proven experience with Agile Methodologies. 
  • The ability to communicate effectively, respectfully in English with other team members, project management and executive level clients.
  • Ability to complete complex tasks on short deadlines and in a fast-past environment
  • Proficient in various requirement analysis, modeling, and documentation techniques (e.g., business process modeling, use cases/user stories, data flow diagrams, data interrogation, data mapping, etc.)
  • Proven experience with various project delivery methodologies.
  • Prior knowledge building and executing test plans and cases for the transformation and movement of complex data between sources and destinations.
  • Proficient with data analysis tools.
