The Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a FP&A Manager to join our London based team. As our first dedicated FP&A hire, this role will be an integral part of the finance function and  instrumental in helping to design and build world-class FP&A capabilities across a rapidly scaling international business.

Following the close of an oversubscribed $50m Series B fundraise, and off the back of four years of > 100% year-on-year ARR growth, we are looking for a dynamic and ambitious FP&A leader who wants to work in a fast-paced environment and be a key growth driver in an exciting and market-leading business.  

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be at the forefront of strategic decision-making, partnering with an exceptional team of senior stakeholders to drive growth and profitability across the business. In this role, you will conduct high-impact financial analysis, support exciting strategic projects, and help steer the company’s continued success with data-driven insights.  

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a proven background in commercial and impactful FP&A who loves solving complex problems, providing actionable insights through data and working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Developing a deep understanding of 9fin’s business across our different product verticals

• Producing models to project short term and longer-term growth - responsible for budgeting, forecasting and long term strategic financial planning and modelling

• Building concise and impactful financial / management information, analysing financial and operational results to better understand company performance.

• Acting as a trusted business partner to senior stakeholders across the business, working especially closely with sales, marketing, people and operations to deliver strategic objectives.

• Working on high impact projects across areas such as rev ops, pricing, departmental budget ownership and product level financial reporting.

• Developing business cases and investment proposals to support growth and operational improvements.

• Shaping and driving the FP&A function, introducing best practices to enhance performance.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), with at least 3 years of post-qualified experience in a strategic FP&A role, OR background in investment banking, VC/PE or Corporate Finance.

• Demonstrable experience in building and challenging financial models.

• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills, SQL experience desirable but not essential.

• A commercial mind, with a demonstrable ability to identify and focus on the most commercially meaningful and insightful data.

• A storyteller who can extract key insights from complex data sets and communicate these insights in a concise, simple and engaging way to a wide range of stakeholders.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner and influence.  

• Strategic mindset with a hands-on, can-do attitude—able to dive into the details while keeping an eye on the bigger picture.

• A forward thinker, who thrives when given ownership of solving open ended and complex problems. You will take initiative and be accountable, whilst staying curious.

• Comfort with ambiguity: You’re excited by the challenge of working in a fast-moving, evolving environment where change is constant.

• B2B Saas / fintech experience desirable but not essential.
