Job Description

Talent will be hired at a level commensurate with experience.

The Marketing Manager (MM) for SKYRIZI Inflammatory Bowel Disease HCP Brand team will be responsible for execution of the omnichannel promotional strategy for SKYRIZI IBD across a range of media.  The MM will utilize customer and field insights to develop stakeholder specific omnichannel tactics across the Skyrizi ecosystem and help the brand execute on key brand initiatives and projects, coordinating efforts across internal and external stakeholders.  As a prominent member of the SKYRIZI marketing team, the individual in this position must demonstrate strong competency in omnichannel strategy through synergy of personal and non-personal channels, along with an innovative mentality and the ability to generate support for their ideas.  The MM reports to the Director, U.S. HCP Marketing for SKYRIZI HCP.   

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement digital tactics in a variety of channels to support HCP omni-channel strategy  
  • Work with colleagues, internal cross functional teams (Legal, Regulatory, Medical and Project Management) and external (Ad Agency, Digital and Media Agency) to ensure strategy and tactical integration 
  • Responsible for the development and execution of professional congress placements for SKYRIZI in collaboration with counterparts across Gastro IBD portfolio 
  • Bring innovative opportunities to differentiate brand through state-of-the-art methods of customer communication and make proposals and recommendations based on business direction, market dynamics and data. 
  • Maintain awareness of relevant market dynamics and trends, and the application to tactical planning and execution 
  • Track and manage promotional budgets 
  • Operate in compliance with all AbbVie internal policies (ethics, environmental health and safety, financial, human resources, and general business policies) and applicable external regulatory requirements 

Qualifications

  • BA/BS required 
  • Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical industry experience required 
  • At least 2 years of marketing experience with track record of tactic delivery and evidence of marketing competencies 
  • High digital marketing and omnichannel strategy literacy  
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to make effective presentations to internal and external customers, sales teams, and senior management 
  • Ability to work across multiple stakeholders 
  • Strong creative and conceptual thinking skills 
  • Strong interpersonal skills 
  • Financial/budgetary experience
