Responsibilities And What You Will Do:
Provide leadership, support, advocacy, and vision to onboarding and offboarding coordinators and support staff
Work in collaboration with the On & Offboarding Manager and HR Management
Oversee a team of volunteers working in Onboarding and Offboarding
Develops new strategies and programs to streamline the onboarding and offboarding process
Ensure all necessary documentation is recorded for new volunteers
Work with the offboarding team to remove inactive volunteers from all platforms
Communicate with managers in other departments about new team members
Work closely with recruiting the manager and other HR Supervisors to share best practices, provide assistance on critical needs, and coordinate global-level initiatives.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Oversee the daily workflow of the department.
Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field a plus.
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred.
Thorough understanding of applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Must be available to volunteer 10-15 hours a week

Not only will you handle essential documentation and communication with various managers, but you'll also have the chance to shape global-level initiatives alongside HR Supervisors. To thrive in this role, we prefer candidates with a bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field, as well as SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP credentials. You'll be valued for your excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills while managing a workflow in a sometimes fast-paced, high-pressure environment. A commitment of 10-15 volunteer hours per week is expected, but the impact you'll have will far exceed the time you dedicate.
