The ideal candidate will be comfortable formulating, designing, and delivering AI/ML-based decision-making frameworks and models. As a Data Scientist at AFS you will contribute directly to the development of mission-critical solutions and you will work with a team to leverage the best fit algorithims and technologies to fulfill the client's mission.Responsibilities include:• Leverage Amazon Web Services to build scalable data infrastructure• Automate deployments and system tasks across multiple environments• Work with technologies such as Elasticsearch, Spark, and the Hadoop ecosystem• Design and build data services for consumption by clients and other servicesHere's what you need:• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, or other relevant field• Minimum 1 year of  experience in Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence, Ddata Science, Computer Science, Computational Engineering, Statistics, or Mathematics Ability to comprehend, synthesize, and report on data and metrics• Minimum 1 year of experience working in major scripting languages to include but not limited to Python, Java, R, or C++• Minimum 1 year of experience creating data visualizations utilizing tools to include but not limited to Tableau and PowerBIBonus points if you have:• Master's Degree or PhD Desire and ability to learn new programming languages AWS Certification Cloud experienceSecurity Clearance:• Active TS/SCI clearance to startAs required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
