Overview:

The Associate Lifecycle Marketing Manager is a key role within our client’s team, ideal for a digital marketer with an entrepreneurial mindset who is highly organized, analytical, and passionate about eCommerce and beauty. This position focuses on driving customer lifetime value (LTV) through the strategy and execution of lifecycle marketing programs, including email, SMS, loyalty, and subscription. Operating in a dynamic, high-growth environment, the role requires a customer-first approach to build meaningful and lasting relationships.

What You’ll Do:

  • Retention Program Strategy & Execution for company DTC & PROFESSIONAL DIVISION: Collaborate with product, creative, and e-commerce teams to develop and execute best-in-class lifecycle marketing programs that align with business goals and drive engagement and retention. 
  • Campaign Management: Own the end-end strategy, calendar, and execution of mobile app, email, SMS communications, including segmentation, deliverability, and optimization to maximize performance.
  • Cross-Channel Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute and bring to life retention campaigns & specialty programs.
  • Customer Insights & Segmentation: Use customer data to create targeted campaigns for key lifecycle stages, including onboarding, win-back efforts, loyalty, and membership programs.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Track KPIs like open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and retention to inform program optimizations to increase LTV. 
  • A/B Testing & Optimization: Lead testing of subject lines, messaging, creative assets, and offers to boost campaign effectiveness.
  • List Growth & Churn Reduction: Grow SMS/email subscriber lists & mobile app users and implement strategies to reduce churn, enhancing customer LTV and retention.
  • Loyalty, Membership & Subscription Programs: Manage specialty retention programs including but not limited to loyalty, referral, membership & subscription to strengthen customer relationships and retention.
  • Mentorship & Team Management: Offer support and guidance to two junior team members on the retention marketing team.
  • Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date on trends, best practices, and emerging tools in digital marketing to refine lifecycle marketing strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, analytics or a related field preferred or equivalent relevant work experience
  • 2+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, marketing analytics or a similar role within an eCommerce environment  
  • Proven track record of success in developing and executing effective lifecycle marketing programs
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data to inform marketing decisions
  • Strong understanding of Retention KPIs – LTV, Repeat Purchase, RFM, etc.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Shopify, Klaviyo, or Attentive required
  • Familiarity with project management software such as ClickUp, Asana, and Monday.com, preferred.
  • 2+ years at a DTC high-growth brand preferred
