The Role? 

Reporting to the Director, Influencer and PR, this position is responsible for supporting the brand’s public relations efforts. The Manager will drive the brand’s share of voice through the execution of press-related activities and the management of all domestic and international PR agency partners, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to turn those tactics into brand equity. 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Drive day-to-day management of all PR agencies across domestic and key international markets 
  • Lead hands-on collaboration with international PR agencies in select markets, including the UK, Southeast Asia and Australia, partnering closely with agencies to build market-specific strategies and adapt global campaigns to resonate locally  
  • Assist in the planning and execution of market entry strategies, partnering with agencies to support brand presence in new territories  
  • Manage annual and project-specific PR plans in collaboration with the Director, Influencer and PR, ensuring seeding, pitching and activations are executed to plan and that timelines are met 
  • Support continued international awareness efforts by partnering with retailer and distributor PR teams, facilitating communication to ensure timely execution and success across regions 
  • Lead the execution of press events to support new product launches and larger brand initiatives 
  • Report to the wider team on weekly and monthly press results  
  • Own press interview requests across top-tier media outlets, partnering with internal experts where necessary 
  • Oversee agency-led media award submissions as well as the licensing and management of awards when applicable 
  • Ideate creative tactics to support awareness through consumer and industry press-related initiatives 
  • Partner with cross functional teams to support expanded usage of quality press coverage 
  • Assist in developing PR budgets and manage budgets to plans 
  • Handle product inventory and sample allocation for all PR agencies and press activities 
  • Build brand equity by managing media outreach efforts that enhance credibility and reinforce brand loyalty 
  • Drive initiatives to sustain and expand OUAI’s share of voice across media outlets, ensuring a consistent and impactful brand presence 

What You’ll Bring: 

  • 4+ years of experience working with beauty, fashion or lifestyle brands 
  • "We Aren’t Afraid to Go First" you will push boundaries, take initiative, and lead groundbreaking PR efforts that elevate OUAI's brand presence globally. 
  • Understanding of established and emerging editorial outlets 
  • Experience working directly with and managing PR agencies 
  • International PR experience a plus 
  • Skilled at managing multiple projects at once  
  • Experience writing articulate and engaging PR materials 
  • Willingness and interest in developing personal relationships with media contacts on behalf of the brand  
  • Proven ability to take initiative to support company, department, and personal goals 
  • Eagerness to learn and work collaboratively in a team environment
