POSITION: Project Geologist – Site Mitigation Services
POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Geologist will primarily be responsible for implementing subsurface investigation activities, preparing investigation reports, advocating for our clients with regulatory agencies, and supporting AEI’s growth.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The work environment may be both indoors and outdoors. Indoor work takes place in a typical office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Outdoor work requires the ability to effectively perform work in all types of weather conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, type, handle office and/or field equipment, speak and hear. The employee may be required to travel independently, stand, walk, balance, kneel or crouch. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to focus.

In this role, you’ll be actively involved in subsurface investigation activities, preparing comprehensive reports, and advocating on behalf of our clients with regulatory agencies. You'll play a key part in project design and review while managing budgets with finesse. Daily, you'll utilize your critical thinking skills to interpret data and coordinate the next steps of investigation. With your strong communication skills and business acumen, you'll support the project management team and prepare impactful proposals. Allow your experience of 8 to 10+ years in environmental due diligence investigations to guide your efforts as you tackle tasks ranging from fieldwork to report writing. Your PG licensure and dedication to safety will ensure that you excel in both indoor and outdoor environments, sometimes in challenging weather conditions.
