This is a great opportunity to join a family-owned business with a rich history, providing comprehensive boiler maintenance, repair, and installation services for commercial and large residential buildings.Responsibilities• Assist with boiler maintenance, repair, and installation projects.• Learn and apply electrical skills related to boiler systems.• Work alongside experienced service technicians to gain hands-on experience.• Meet at the shop at 7:15 AM and work from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.• Maintain a clean driving record to assist with transportation needs.Essential Skills• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar field.• Electrical aptitude and basic electrical skills.• Willingness to learn and develop skills in the boiler trade.• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).Additional Skills & Qualifications• Graduation from a trade school is a plus.• Proficiency with hand tools.• No specific certifications are required.Why Work Here?Join a family business that has been in operation since 1961 and is committed to long-term employee development. You will be part of a team that responds to various boiler room problems, from day-to-day repairs to complete new heating system installations. The working hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with a start time of 7:15 AM at the shop.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bronx, New York.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
