Job Description

We are looking to hire a Graphic Designer to join our Creative Team!

This role will work closely with Project Managers, Interactive Team, other Graphic Designers, and other stakeholders to drive design standards, consistency and innovation while supporting organization’s goals, such as, preleasing, retaining target customers, providing world class customer experience and converting customers. 

What You Will Do

  • Generate designs to help solve business problems.
  • Support creative team with planning and maintaining the creative development of design standards and templates to support marketing and sales efforts and deliver a consistent message and look across all forms of media.
  • Solve creative challenges with a focus on supporting the business and the customer.
  • May attend operational meetings with internal teams to determine design needs, clearly present drafts, and take direction for edits from start to finish.
  • Communicate frequently with Manager and other stakeholders to ensure visibility into project progress and keeping things flowing.
  • Effectively handles tight deadlines, unexpected delays, revisions, ad hoc requests and changing priorities.
  • Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects with short deadlines.
  • Be a resource to help drive team’s designs and knowledge to complete projects on time and within estimated hours.
  • May assist with on-boarding & training of team members.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement related to recurring tasks and implement resources to optimize efficiency. 
  • Explore and assess the latest tools and technology to enhance design processes and workflows.
  • Pilot and implement innovative technologies to streamline creative production, elevate design quality, and improve efficiency.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends by conducting ongoing research into advancements in AI and automation within the creative field.

Qualifications

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
  • 2 to 4 years of experience as a Graphic Designer ideally working in a corporate in-house environment or agency.
  • Intermediate user of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat. Basic to intermediate experience in HTML, After Effects, or UX.
  • Strong layout and typography skills.
  • Working knowledge regarding color management, file types, and current design trends.
  • Experience generating sketches or mock-ups to present design ideas for both digital & traditional.
  • Intermediate experience to different forms of media, such as temporary and permanent signage, print advertising, collateral, photo retouching, branding.

What We Offer

AIR offers attractive total compensation packages designed to recognize and reward performance including:

  • Expected pay range of $55,000 - $70,000 base salary plus 10% annual target bonus. You will be provided a pay rate that is in line with your skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job.
  • 25% Rent Discount at any AIR community (a rental application is required, and certain exclusions apply).

What You Need To Know

Application Deadline:  The initial deadline for applications is 01/14/2025. Applications submitted after this date may still be considered on a rolling basis until the position/program is filled. Candidates extended an offer will be required to undergo pre-employment screening that includes checking references, a four-panel drug screening that excludes marijuana testing, employment verification & criminal background check.
