AIR Communities uses industry leading technology for a modern approach to maintenance so our Maintenance Technicians can help as many residents as possible each day. Whether you are turning an apartment to create the perfect move-in experience for new residents or resolving service requests to ensure that our current residents feel at home, every day is filled with new challenges.

You will work at Lincoln Place Apartments, our modern 795-unit community, minutes from Venice Beach restaurants and shops in Venice, CA.

What We Offer

AIR offers attractive compensation packages that reward hard work and excellent customer service including:

  • Expected hourly rate of $23.50 - $25.00 per hour. You will be provided a pay rate that is in line with your skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job.
  • Quarterly Customer Service Satisfaction Bonuses. Technicians who excel at consistently providing positive resident experiences can earn up to $1,500 per quarter.

What You Will Do

  • Provide excellent service to residents and assistance to team members.
  • Follow AIR’s process for completion of basic apartment turns to make the apartment ready for the next resident’s perfect move-in experience
  • With general direction, complete resident requested repairs and routine maintenance (i.e. troubleshoot and repair/replace plumbing, basic electrical components, HVAC equipment, and appliances, etc.)
  • May provide functional/technical direction and training to other Maintenance Technicians and support the development of technical skills.
  • May assist with managing vendor quality and may perform move-in/move-out inspections.
  • Responsibilities vary based on team member skillset and community needs, mechanical systems, and season.

What You Have

  • At least 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in some form of facilities or building environment
  • Proficient skills in at least two technical trades (plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, carpentry, etc.)
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, 7-day work weeks (depending on community needs and seasonality), and on-call shifts (at least one week a month).
  • A reliable mode of transportation to respond to emergency service requests while on-call after hours.
  • Comfort with physical activity as you must be able and willing to move heavy equipment and machinery.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.

What You Need to Know

Application Deadline: The initial deadline for applications is 01/03/2025. Applications submitted after this date may still be considered on a rolling basis until the position/program is filled. Candidates extended an offer will be required to undergo pre-employment screening that includes checking references, a four-panel drug screening that excludes marijuana testing, employment verification & criminal background check.
