What you’ll do

As a Staff Product Manager, you will be defining Airwallex’s products, from strategy and solution design to roadmap and delivery plans. This role is part of the payments product team, building out our card acquiring and alternative payment methods capabilities. You will be responsible for our payments for platform offering, which is enabling marketplaces to collect payments on behalf of underlying sellers and platforms to embed payments acceptance into their offering. You will be working closely together with many cross-functional teams to define the product roadmap and drive high-impact projects from ideation to launch.

This role is based in London, Netherlands, Singapore, Hong Kong, or Shanghai.

Responsibilities:

  • Orchestrating the coverage expansion of payments for platform product to new customer segments and geographies

  • Reducing integration efforts and improving developer experience for marketplaces and platforms who integrate with payments

  • Identifying innovative solutions to help marketplaces and platforms fulfill regulatory requirements and effectively manage the risk of their payments operation

  • Building effective customer feedback loops and training/ guides for internal stakeholders to help scale the payments for platform business

Who you are

We're looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.

Minimum qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in a high-growth environment

  • Hands-on experience with payments acquiring or embedded finance products

  • Bachelor's degree or above with a competitive GPA, preferably with engineering or computer science coursework

Preferred qualifications:

  • Solid technical understanding and ability to engage in architectural discussions with engineering teams

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey product strategy to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Close attention to detail, ability to structure complex problems and inform decisions with data and first-principle insights

  • Drive, grit, and persistence are necessary to take ownership and move ideas to reality in short periods of time

  • Ability to thrive in cross-cultural and cross-functional teams
