We are looking for Automation Engineer to join our Electricity & Automation team. As an Automation Engineer you participate automation system design related to fired boiler and waste heat recovery boiler systems supplied to Power, Offshore and Cruise & Ferry applications all over the world.
The job
Electricity and Automation department is executing electrical design work as well as designing, constructing, and testing of control systems for our system deliveries. Your team members are automation engineers and electrical design engineers in Rauma, Singapore, and Sydney.
As an Automation Engineer you have responsibility of PLC and HMI programming of the projects that you are participating. You are also involved in the testing work of PLC programs and control panels. You work in close contact with internal project organization, other electrical and automation engineers as well as suppliers, customers, and other external stakeholders.
You
To succeed in this position, you should have several years of experience in automation systems for industrial applications, along with strong knowledge of LV electrical control systems
Electrical and/or automation engineering education (M.Sc./B.Sc.).
You have experience from successful automation design and project work in international technology area. We appreciate experience and know-how of power plant, offshore, shipbuilding or process industry.
Experience in PLC and HMI programming on Siemens TIA Portal environment (S7-1200/1500). Knowledge in S7-400 and PCS7 environment is considered an advantage.
Experience in control system hands-on testing and commissioning.
Good technical competence.
Systematic way of working. You get motivation from challenges and can maintain performance while working under pressure.
You are cooperative and able to communicate in fluent English.
