Are you a book lover with an eye for organization? Our Aboite Branch is looking for a Shelver to help keep our shelves in perfect order! In this role, you’ll be responsible for making sure books, DVDs, and other materials find their way to the right spots, assisting in the processing of library items, and creating a welcoming environment for our community. If you have a knack for organization, enjoy being on the move, and love the idea of working in a vibrant library setting, we’d love to hear from you. Must pass the Dewey Decimal Skills Test before application will be considered. The Dewey Decimal Skills test can be taken at any library location during hours of operation. There is a study guide available on the ACPL career site.


This position will work 12 hours per week ideally spread out over 3-4 days. The days and times are flexible.


Compensation & Benefits
  • Starting pay is $11.47 per hour and up based on experience
