HOURLY WAGE: Starting at $18.65/HR
POSITION:
Solitude Mountain Resort is seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to manage all receptionist and clerical tasks at our lodging building. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive first impression. Our Front Desk Agents deliver outstanding guest service, ensuring all needs and expectations are met and exceeded. JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver exceptional guest service
Handle arrivals and departures, assisting with guest accounting
Answer inbound and in-house phone calls, book reservations, and assist with interdepartmental inquiries
Respond promptly to guest requests
Address lodging, guest folio, and general inquiries via email
Log maintenance requests and follow up on their completion, assisting when necessary
Prepare daily reports, including occupancy, arrival, and departure reports
Assist with snow shoveling in the front desk area as needed
Maintain lobby coffee service
Assist in mailroom operations
Perform light housekeeping to keep the lobby and back areas clean
Provide bell service and valet assistance to guests as needed
Assist with other tasks as assigned by management
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Previous guest service experience preferred
Commitment to providing the highest level of guest service
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong problem-solving abilities
Keen attention to detail
Basic accounting skills
Flexibility to work various schedules, including holidays and weekends
Ability to stand for extended periods
Capability to work independently without supervision
Strong multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and address issues effectively
Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency with office suites and the ability to learn new software
Must be 21 years old with a clean driving record
