Global Demand Planning Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Global Demand Planner to monitor and execute on our global planning processes across multiple markets, countries, vendors, and locations. This senior role will be responsible for aligning planning strategies with business goals, driving stock status across multiple regions, and ensuring that their markets’ global supply and demand targets are met. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of exceptional experience in direct-to-consumer e-commerce, optimizing global demand planning, and managing large-scale, multi-SKU demand plans in a CPG, fast-paced, global environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute the global demand planning strategy for their markets, ensuring alignment with the markets’ long-term goals and demands.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders in Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Finance to ensure seamless integration of planning processes and alignment of objectives.
  • Work closely with regional planning teams to ensure that global strategies are appropriately localized and executed at the regional level, driving accountability for in-market forecast accuracy, in-stock status and minimal slow-moving/obsolete inventory.
  • Participate in global demand forecasting and supply planning activities, ensuring a balanced approach to capacity management and sourcing across multiple regions.
  • Identify and recommend optimal resource utilization across production facilities and suppliers, balancing cost control with the need for agility and responsiveness.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics (KPIs) related to assigned markets’ global planning, including forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, lead times, and SLOB.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across assigned sales regions and departments to ensure effective communication and a unified approach to global planning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Exemplary English language is a must. Business proficiency in Korean preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in global supply chain demand planning, with at least 1 year in a multi-national role.
  • Proven track record of success in supporting global planning functions.
  • Experience in multi-country, nutritional or food-related supply chain preferred.
  • Experience in MLM/Direct Sales industry preferred.
  • Strong expertise in S&OP processes, forecasting models, inventory management, and capacity planning across diverse global markets.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive strategic decision-making.
  • In-depth knowledge of global demand planning, including sourcing, production, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Expertise in planning and ERP systems (SAP by Design preferred), and a deep understanding of advanced analytics and forecasting methodologies.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
