Description


The ideal candidate will have experience developing, planning, and managing a global training program on strategic sales and deal negotiation best practices. The candidate should be a creative problem solver who is meticulous, customer-obsessed, and able to be drive continual improvement with strong initiative and leadership. They must also be willing to roll up their sleeves and do what it takes to get the job done while insisting on the highest standards.

You will be responsible for implementing and further developing a curriculum for onboarding new Executive Sponsors, providing specific education on deal strategies, skills, and best practices. The Project Manager will draw upon skills in curriculum development, content creation, and process execution to scale the program from initiation to global impact.

Key job responsibilities
· Design, implement, maintain and scale the Executive Sponsor training program.
· Engage and manage relationships with stakeholders from the global AWS organization to iterate on program designs, receive feedback and drive progress against key program objectives.
· Develop and track success metrics for the program business requirements, providing performance transparency into continuous program improvement.

AWS Global Deal Strategy & Programs (GDSP) engages with our customers on strategic, complex, and highly competitive opportunities to drive the growth of AWS’s business and establish AWS as their key cloud technology provider. GDSP partners with the senior executive stakeholders (Executive Sponsors) throughout AWS to empower our customers to rapidly grow.

Basic Qualifications

- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
