Are you interested in leveraging your video editing, motion design, project management, and relationship management skills as part of a production team, responsible for producing high quality, creative, and compelling Amazon seller conferences? This role will provide event and marketing assets through video and animations for highly visible, large-scale seller events and internal events and communications. The Video Editor/Motion Designer will be part of a team that owns the strategy and execution for Amazon seller events and supports other event and communication initiatives whether virtual, physical, or hybrid – including our annual flagship event, Amazon Accelerate.
Key job responsibilities
As a Video Editor/Motion Designer, you will partner closely with lead Creative Producers, Marketing Managers, and Program Managers to create a variety of assets that inspire, engage, and educate our sellers and associates. You will work tirelessly to deliver multiple assets that tie event content together, promote seller events, excite and energize our sellers, and inform and inspire Amazonians. You understand that impactful videos are a significant part of the attendee experience, and you will work closely with creative designers and video producers to ensure that text, visuals, and video assets complement and tie stories together for maximum understanding and engagement. In this role, you will work collaboratively with production partners, producers, designers, product managers, marketers, and program managers across the Selling Partner Services organization, leading the editing and animation of assets to be viewed by worldwide audiences through an array of delivery channels.
About the team
The Accelerate Seller Events Team (ASET) is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Amazon Seller events. This role will report into the Head of Production and Content and be responsible for editing and creating a portfolio of visual assets that will be leveraged in marketing communications (internally and externally), during general session and breakout sessions, and post-event materials. This role will also support a growing portfolio of internal event needs (Town Halls and communications) along with other ad-hoc programs and projects throughout the year. You will work with creative producers, program managers, marketing leads, event producers and content leads.
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- 3+ years of experience in video editing and motion design
- Experience owning end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Prior experience as video editor and motion designer in marketing, product, television/film, events, or an agency
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and other creative and post-production applications and tools
- Experience building professional relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Strong decision-making skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven and sometimes ambiguous environment
- Ability to conceptualize and execute projects, with strong bias for action and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Impeccable organization and project management skills
- Ability to easily communicate creative ideas and collaborate in a team environment
- Experience working with legal, corporate communications, PR partners.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $72,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
