American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc. seeks Design Managers to lead processes to capture user requirements and identify customer needs, problems, and opportunity areas. Lead iteration on designs based on feedback from users, partners, and usability testing. Manage design operations processes that support the design team. Lead and mentor junior members of the design team. Provide guidance to designers and other partners regarding design decisions and practices to ensure successful project outcomes. Evaluate potential challenges and risks, and proactively recommend solutions to mitigate risk. Lead the management of complex or high-profile projects with diverse stakeholders.
Position requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Multimedia, Graphic Design, Information, or a related field, and 2 years of experience with analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to improve user experiences. Experience must include 1 year of experience with each of the following: improving readability, utility, and overall user experience; developing prototypes, mockups, wireframes, and style guides based on requirements; reviewing prototypes and mockups and providing design feedback in HTML and CSS; creating motion graphics, and micro-interaction prototypes; and Adobe CC, AfterEffects, Axure RP, InVision for clickable prototypes, JIRA, Microsoft tools, OmniGraffle, and Sketch. Telecommuting is available up to 2 days per week.

Salary Range: $148,845.000.00 to $165,000.00 annually
