Vice President, Governance and Risk Management - Compliance Risk Management Program

In the Employee Safety and Risk Claims Consultant role, you will contribute to the company’s commitment to serve others by providing claims guidance and oversight in order to mitigate employee lost work time and achieve overall claim cost reduction.This role is 100% remote and can be performed from anywhere in the US.Responsibilities:• Provide technical claim expertise and counsel to operations• Communicate with all levels of field management and Human Resources to mitigate employee workers’ compensation injuries and claims• Works in conjunction with field Safety and Risk Managers to identify risks to prevent /reduce injuries and accidents• Work with the field to strategize early return to work and claim closure• Maintain diaries on claims to ensure proper reserves, strategize with defense counsel on litigated claims, and actively monitor on-going claim strategies• Oversee and ensure that client handling instructions of the TPA are executed• Assist in the management of Third Party Administrator and overall claim strategies through claim reviews and routine meetings• Facilitate education and training on claims managementQualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in related field; Associate in Risk Management (ARM) preferred• Minimum of 5-7 years of related experience• Knowledge of workers’ compensation claims systems and Microsoft Office• Self-motivated and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task• Excellent communication and analytical skillsWhy Join Us?• Full compensation/benefits package for employees working 30+ hours/week• 401(k) with company match• Paid time off and holiday pay• Complex work adding value to the organization’s mission alongside a great team of coworkers• Enjoy job security with nationwide career development and advancement opportunitiesWe have meaningful work for you – come join our team – apply today!Sevita is a leading provider of home and community-based specialized health care.
