Chief Marketing Officer, North America - USAre you a senior leader who collaborates with colleagues and peers to create marketing strategies and track success This leadership role positions you to drive regional marketing strategies, align marketing activities with campaign goals and deliver marketing initiatives within the region while partnering with leaders to test and evolve campaigns as you monitor metrics. You will have a dual reporting line into the Head of Global Marketing and CEO, North America. We know that our global strategies succeed when we understand and support regional needs, which is where you will own the tailoring of content to suit the local markets and demands of the region. Through coordination of in-region marketing communications in collaboration with other regional leaders, your team will build consistent messaging and resolve appropriate regional critical metrics and marketing growth targets. With the focused support of colleagues and their dedication to improvement, you will continue to grow your skills, knowledge, and experiences every day. Other responsibilities include:+ Planning and implementation of regional and local marketing events and campaigns with post-event reporting to rigorously deploy, monitor, test and adjust campaign strategies in the market and activation across paid media, social media and Aon.com.+ Align marketing strategy, planning, and campaigns in partnership with the Head of Global Marketing and regional CCOs.+ Work in collaboration with global Risk Capital and Human Market Strategy Leads, and their respective teams, to position regional content needs for global solution line development and ensure consistent regional messaging.+ Direct the marketing teams work to create regionally relevant, integrated "Aon United" demand-focused, multi-channel programs by buyer type, persona and segment that move clients through the sales funnel.+ Drive regional key objectives for demand-focused programs while guiding and supporting buyer leaders and sub-regional growth marketing leaders to plan and deliver activities that support growth priorities.How this opportunity is differentUnlike similarly-titled roles in other companies that distribute global content in local languages, we expect you to collaborate closely with the regional CEO, regional CCO and regional solution line/business leaders to build and deliver a robust marketing plan that aligns to regional growth priorities and regional revenue goals. Your team is encouraged to continually challenge and review results and impact to ensure we continue to deliver a plan that support the regional goals.Skills and experience that will lead to successAs one of the regional chief marketing officers, the capabilities that you bring to your team include experience with digital marketing to implement paid and organic campaign activations. A track record in B2B and marketing communications and demonstrated success influencing C-level executives and cross-functional leaders in a sophisticated, matrixed environment will help the team thrive. Also critical are demonstrated skills in messaging and positioning offerings and strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to implement programs with speed, accuracy and efficiency. The actual salary will vary based on applicants education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicants geographic location.This position is eligible for participate in one of Aons annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.Aon offers a comprehensive package of benefits for full-time and regular part-time colleagues, including, but not limited to: a 401(k) savings plan with employer contributions; an employee stock purchase plan; consideration for long-term incentive awards at Aons discretion; medical, dental and vision insurance.
