Director, Product Analytics

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Product Analytics to lead and expand our product analytics team. This role is critical in driving data-driven decision-making and optimizing product performance. The Director of Product Analytics will be responsible for building the team, partnering closely with cross-functional teams, and ensuring data integrity and actionable insights.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and execute the vision and strategy for the product analytics function, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Build and lead a high-performing product analytics team, growing it from 3 to 6 members.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify and address key product questions through data.
• Create and maintain a scalable, accurate, and reliable analytics infrastructure.
• Establish and enforce best practices for data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to drive product innovation and optimization.
• Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making, continuous improvement, and high performance within the team.
• Partner with product leadership to influence business strategy through analytics.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and accessibility across the product analytics function.
• Hire, retain, and develop top talent in the field of product analytics.

What You Bring:

• Proven experience in building and leading a product analytics team, including hiring and team development.
• Strong technical skills in data analytics, including proficiency with tools such as Looker, Amplitude, and other relevant analytics platforms.
• Demonstrated success in using data to drive product strategy and decision-making.
• Experience in creating and maintaining scalable and reliable analytics infrastructures.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and attention to detail.
• High degree of accountability, humility, and a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
