Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Marketing Analyst to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about leveraging data to drive informed decision-making and contribute to the success of our marketing initiatives. As a Marketing Analyst, you will play a crucial role in extracting insights from data, measuring campaign performance, and providing actionable recommendations to enhance marketing effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis:
Analyze marketing data to assess the performance of various campaigns, channels, and initiatives. Extract meaningful insights from data to inform marketing strategy, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
Campaign Measurement:
Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing campaigns to evaluate success and areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of campaign metrics.
Market Research:
Conduct market research to gather insights on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior. Provide actionable recommendations based on research findings to guide marketing strategy.
Forecasting and Modeling:
Utilize statistical models and forecasting techniques to predict and measure the impact of marketing initiatives on key business metrics. Collaborate with finance and sales teams to align marketing forecasts with overall business goals.
Reporting and Dashboards:
Create and maintain marketing dashboards and reports to communicate performance metrics to stakeholders. Automate reporting processes to streamline data analysis and reporting efficiency.
Customer Segmentation:
Work closely with the marketing team to segment and analyze customer data, enabling targeted and personalized marketing efforts. Identify opportunities for audience segmentation based on behavioral and demographic data.
Competitive Analysis:
Monitor and analyze competitor marketing strategies, identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Provide insights to inform competitive positioning and differentiation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, statistics, business, or a related field.
Proven experience as a marketing analyst, preferably in the technology or data services industry.
Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, SQL, or other relevant analytical tools.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems.
$95,000 - $115,000 a year
