Role Overview

We’re seeking a Brand Marketing Lead to develop and execute a bold vision for Appetise, combining our cutting-edge B2B SaaS insights platform with our shoppable recipe platform. You'll help us connect deeply with audiences across New Zealand, Australia, and beyond.

What You’ll Do

Lead a Brand That Resonates

  • Define and execute a powerful brand strategy that makes Appetise the aspirational leader in the FMCG tech stack.
  • Shape a cohesive identity that’s human, inspiring, and category-defining.
  • Craft messaging that connects emotionally with FMCG customers and B2C users alike.

Drive Campaigns That Inspire Action

  • Lead multi-channel campaigns that engage and convert FMCG decision-makers and B2C users.
  • Create standout content—brand films, thought leadership pieces, success stories—that amplify our mission.
  • Leverage digital marketing strategies (SEO, SEM, social media, email) to elevate our presence and impact.

Expand Internationally

  • Develop market-specific strategies to introduce Appetise into new regions.
  • Localise branding while maintaining a universal, human appeal.

Own Data-Driven Brand Growth

  • Use insights to refine strategies, measure success, and optimise campaigns.
  • Define and track brand awareness, engagement, and emotional impact KPIs.

Budget Management and Reporting

  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximise ROI.
  • Monitor expenditures and adjust strategies to stay within budget while achieving marketing objectives.
  • Prepare regular reports detailing campaign performance, insights, and recommendations for improvement.

Our HQ is in Christchurch. We embrace future flexibility and offer location and time adaptability. WFH is optional on Wednesdays and Fridays. Work at your peak efficiency. As long as the Mahi is done, we are happy.

Our Christchurch office is pet-friendly and includes fun times like Treat Tuesdays, quarterly team days, and in-office games. Once a quarter, we put down the tools and have some fun for a day—kayaking, zip-lining, and paint and sip have been some of our recent faves. These fun moments aren't just perks, though (and they take place during work hours). They show the importance of working as a team and being passionate about what we do.

The salary range for this role is $125,000 - $150,000. In addition, you’ll be eligible to participate in our employee stock ownership plan.
