Cyber Liaison Officer (CYBERLO)

The Cyber Liaison Officer (CYBERLO) at ARETUM plays a critical role in bridging communication between various stakeholders involved in cybersecurity efforts. This includes serving as an integration subject matter expert (SME), coordinating cyber effects planning, advising on operational assessments, and supporting joint exercises. The CYBERLO is also responsible for ensuring effective communication among Air Force cyber teams and operational components, thus enhancing our overall mission support services.

To qualify for the Cyber Liaison Officer (CYBERLO) position at ARETUM, candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree, while a master’s degree is preferred. Additionally, candidates should have a minimum of 6 years of CYBERLO experience, including at least 3 years in joint cyber planning roles. A TS/SCI security clearance is also required. Candidates with experience in Theater AOC, ASOG, or similar positions will find this role an enriching opportunity.

As a Cyber Liaison Officer (CYBERLO) at ARETUM, you will significantly contribute to joint exercises by designing cyber-related injects and participating in After Action Reviews (AARs). This includes at least one year as a CYBERLO Senior Controller and hands-on experience with Theater-level exercises. A background in cyber operations officer roles and experience interfacing with General Officers for strategic guidance is beneficial for this position.
