About the positionThe Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for translating supply plans into executable purchase orders with internal sites and third-party manufacturers. This role focuses on establishing and maintaining purchasing and supply attributes within the MRP system, resolving discrepancies, and acting as the primary contact for US suppliers. The position requires collaboration with key supplier management team members and involves tracking and reporting on various supplier management activities.Responsibilities• Translate supply plan into executable purchase orders with internal sites and third-party manufacturers.,• Establish purchasing and supply attributes for all materials and maintain within the MRP system.,• Resolve and document purchase order discrepancies such as non-conformance, shortages, or price discrepancies with suppliers.,• Review purchase order acknowledgements daily for compliance with price, delivery, and other terms and conditions.,• Act as the first point of contact for all US suppliers and ensure early involvement of key supplier management team members.,• Track and report the progress of all Key Supplier Management (KSM) activities.,• Perform annual supplier financial health checks and supplier demand planning and capacity assessments.,• Develop risk heatmaps and action plans along with supplier sustainability.,• Manage performance to contract management including quality, OTIF service level, and communication and alignment on pricing.,• Support tech transfer of new products and new GMP material by ensuring proper compliance with Technical Agreements, change controls, and on-time delivery of milestones.Requirements• Supply chain management experience,• Planning skills,• Inventory management knowledge,• Procurement experience,• Purchasing skills,• Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle or SAP),• Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsNice-to-haves• Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent relevant experience,• 7+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Materials Management,• Experience in Pharmaceutical manufacturing,• Previous operations experience and exposure to manufacturing materials principles and conceptsBenefits
