Company Description

Hotel Jerome has been the social hub of Aspen since its opening in 1889 at the height of the town’s silver boom, known as the place where all great stories were born and are told. As the only Aspen hotel to survive the silver crash, the long pre-ski-resort winters, and the Depression, we’ve seen cowboys ride through our doors, 10th Mountain Division soldiers gather round over pints after training on the slopes, and Hunter S. Thompson holding court during his run for sheriff. You can’t experience Aspen, without experiencing Jerome.

The targeted compensation range for this full time year round, non-exempt position is $22-24/hr. The position offers a competitive compensation package presented by Auberge Resorts Collection.

Job Description

The Restaurant Reservationist is an integral part of the Food and Beverage team, ensuring a well orchestrated and seamless dining experience. The role involves efficiently receiving and recording guests' restaurant reservations while prioritizing the fulfillment of all requests and needs with a gracious touch.

  • Receive and record guests' reservations whether in person, via phone and input them into Open Table ensuring Auberge Resorts Collection standards are met
  • Assign reservations according to customer's request and knowledge of the restaurant and flow of business
  • Ensure menus are up to date, clean & mark free
  • Maintain a complete knowledge of menu and all related menu items
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of one-year experience in the foodservice / hospitality industry.
  • Prior experience in a luxury setting and good knowledge of food and wine is preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.
