Avathon, a leading enterprise AI company, is seeking an experienced and driven Vice President of Sales to lead our North American sales team. This role is designed for a seasoned sales executive with a proven track record in high-level enterprise sales within large industrial sectors such as aerospace, energy and manufacturing. The VP of Sales will be responsible for building and executing strategies to drive revenue growth by developing and expanding relationships with C-suite leaders and managing enterprise-level contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Execute Avathon’s go-to-market and sales strategies for the industrial sectors, driving revenue growth and expanding market share.
  • Enterprise-Level Sales: Cultivate and manage high-level relationships with C-suite stakeholders, securing and expanding multimillion-dollar contracts.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within aerospace, energy, automotive, hi-tech and related industries, aligning Avathon’s solutions with customer needs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure seamless client experiences and solution alignment.
  • Team Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team focused on driving sales in complex enterprise environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry Expertise: Minimum of 15 years in enterprise sales with a focus on large-scale industries such as aerospace, energy, or heavy industry.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in securing multimillion-dollar contracts and managing complex sales cycles in Fortune 500 companies.
  • C-Level Engagement: Extensive experience working directly with C-suite executives and decision makers, translating business challenges into AI-driven solutions.
  • AI & Enterprise Technology Proficiency: Strong understanding of AI and enterprise software solutions
  • Location: Based in or willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area.

Pay Range: $350,000 - $375,000 OTE. Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
