Are you eager to make a significant impact as a Purchase Manager with your commercial mindset? With us, you’ll have the opportunity to work with various A-brands and manage your own purchasing area. As a driven professional, you'll negotiate strategically and work in a dynamic, international environment.

Reach your full potential as Purchase Manager

As a Purchase Manager, you’ll work with well-known brands such as Hershey’s, Haribo and Coca-Cola in categories such as confectionery or spirits. As a new addition to the team, you’ll take responsibility for your own purchasing area. In this role, you’ll attend 2-3 international trade fairs annually and travel to  suppliers  across Europe. In this dynamic role, you’ll manage priorities and meet deadlines while collaborating closely with the Fulfilment, Sales, Finance, and Marketing departments to keep processes running smoothly. Additionally, you’ll expand  your portfolio by adding new suppliers.

What will you do?

  • You determine the choice of supplier and the entire negotiation yourself; You are responsible for the right suppliers, all negotiations and strategy within your category
  • Maintaining customer contact with existing suppliers and actively working to expand your network by building new relationships
  • Engaging in  digital and telephone communication, with the potential for regular international travel to be added to your schedule over time

You have a commercial mindset, are entrepreneurial, and enjoy thinking outside the box. With your persuasive skills, you are able to convince both suppliers and colleagues of your insights and ideas. You are driven by challenges and stay constantly informed about the latest trends and developments in your field. Together with your team, you are always striving for better results.

You:

  • Have a completed commercial education, at least at a bachelor’s (HBO) level
  • Have 3-5 years of experience in a commercial role
  • Are proficient in Excel and have strong numerical skills
  • Have international experience
  • Have excellent command of English, and preferably Dutch. Proficiency in an additional language is a plus

Additional Information

  • A maximum salary of €4,900, depending on your experience, plus an annual fixed Christmas bonus and a performance-based bonus
  • 25 vacation days, with the option to earn 2 extra days and purchase an additional 7
