CNA or LPN for School Student

Empowerment Academy is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant or a Licensed Practical Nurse to work with our Head School Nurse and serve a student at our Elementary School. Candidate would be expected to help with our School’s nursing needs, and the needs of one particular student. This is an immediate full-time salaried position, with benefits. A LPN is preferred, though we would consider a CNA working towards becoming a LPN or School Nurse. 

Salary (CNA): $40,000-$50,000 annual salary

Salary (LPN): $45,000-$55,000 annual salary

Hours: 7:45am-4:30pm Monday-Friday

The candidate must be willing to ride the bus transporting the student.

  • The Candidate needs to be a licensed CNA at the minimum. An LPN is preferred.
  • Nursing experience with children preferred.
  • Excellence in communication and organization skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, families, staff and community with diverse backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities.
  • Be able to provide specialized care and attention to students who require individualized healthcare services as assigned by the building principal, supervisors, or designee.
