What you’ll do:

  • Apply strong product sense to deeply understand customer needs, design intuitive solutions, and deliver impactful AI products that resonate emotionally and functionally with users

  • Drive projects with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring tasks are prioritized, timelines are managed, and high-quality outcomes are achieved in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Work on the product vision and strategy for our AI products, working closely with design, engineering, research, and go-to-market teams

  • Present vision and strategy to the organization, taking in feedback from lateral and executive stakeholders, ensuring that we are always aiming for the right goals

  • Lead customer calls to present AI capabilities and field questions

  • Consider difficult tradeoffs and make decisions to drive clarity in an ambiguous and developing market environment

  • Mentor and support engineers and other product managers in ensuring excellent execution and delivery

  • Partner with product marketing to develop customer facing materials and demos to scale our outreach

  • Partner with legal, compliance, and information security teams to bolster our ethical and safe AI processes and messaging 

If you have some or all of the following, please apply:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management with 0-1 products and high-use / sticky enterprise products.

  • Experience developing AI products or workflows using the latest Generative AI technologies and a passion for innovating with AI

  • Demonstrated strong product sense with the ability to deeply understand customer needs (including with hands-on research), craft intuitive solutions, and deliver products that resonate emotionally and functionally with users

  • Exceptional attention to detail and proven project management skills, with the ability to translate strategy into actionable plans, manage trade-offs, prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver high-quality products in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent leadership skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders

  • A command of product strategy and the ability to make clear strategic decisions in an environment with rapidly changing dynamics

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to define KPIs, interpret data, and make data-informed decisions

  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to balance short-term wins with long-term strategic initiatives

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills within a team, across teams, and customer-facing

At BetterUp, we compensate our employees fairly for their work. Base salary is determined by job-related experience, education/training, residence location, as well as market indicators. The range below is representative of base salary only and does not include equity, sales bonus plans (when applicable) and benefits. This range may be modified in the future.

The base salary range for this role is $157,000 – $271,000.

If you live in New York, the base salary range for this role is: 
$180,000 – $271,000: New York City
$157,000 – $235,000.: Albany, Buffalo, Rochester, Nassau, Newburgh, Syracuse
