Job Description

Seeking a Senior Product Manager with expertise in UI/UX, Design and research to join our global team and the shape the consumer experience for Installments and Embedded Finance products at Visa. In this role as a global design lead, you will support our regional teams and will play a crucial role in defining and executing best in class experience to drive the adoption of Flexible Payments and Credentials, product learning and experimentation agenda and roadmap.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and manage product design and experience strategy, aligning with company and Product objectives and user needs for both B2B and B2C Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including engineering, Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer service) to ensure product experience aligns with overall product strategy.
  • Lead user research to understand user needs, identify gaps, and develop new features.
  • Design the user experience for our installment process, which will be integrated into merchant sites. Support regional teams with design expertise and guidance, ensuring a cohesive global product strategy.
  • Exceptional story teller with high degree of Influence with partners, including Financial Institutions (FIs) and merchants, to adopt best-in-class design and experience standards.
  • Define, Develop, Drive, Monitor, and analyze Product experience and metrics, and make decisions based on data to improve the product.
  • Develop and maintain a prioritized product backlog and lead the planning and execution of product sprints.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders, ensuring transparency and managing expectations.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to other members of the team.

 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

  • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
  • Bachelor’s degree in design, Business, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in interaction, experience and emotional design with a focus on product management.
  • Proven experience managing all stages of the product design and experience lifecycle.
  • Expertise with user-centered design principles for Consumer and Businesses
  • Experience with design tools like Sketch, InVision, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in a global team, supporting regional teams.
  • Proven ability to influence external partners to adopt high design standards.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 159,100.00 to 230,900.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
