As an Engineering Manager at Bitwarden you will lead the software development efforts that build the future of the Bitwarden product across web and server components while working with a great team and an amazing open source community. We’re looking for someone who can help our team grow confidently by evaluating and identifying demands of future roadmap and product delivery needs against resources, capacity, and velocity of the development team as well as facilitate career growth for direct reports to help meet that demand and foster professional development. You will own the software development process and contribute directly to the culture of quality within Bitwarden through process improvements, departmental outreach, and mentoring. You will directly manage a cross-functional team of software engineers focused on support, web, desktop, and server. You also help secure cross-department resources, manage trade-offs for delivery, keep stakeholders accountable, meet deadlines, communicate at the executive level on project status and risk, and measure team impact and needs.
This is an all-remote team and we are looking for someone located in the U.S. We do not offer visa sponsorship at this time.

In the United States, the starting base compensation range for this role is $170,000 - $200,000.
