Director, MSP Sales

As the Director of MSP Sales, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading, mentoring, and empowering a team of Account Executives to achieve their goals while fostering collaboration and optimizing partnership effectiveness.  
 
Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and mentor the team to develop and maintain strong relationships with our valued customers, driving mutual value and growth. 

  • Develop and implement the overall sales strategy in line with the company's objectives and business goals. 

  • Establish strong relationships with customers and stakeholders. 

  • Lead sales efforts for large opportunities. 

  • Implement training plans and conduct training on sales skills, forecasting, Meddpicc, etc. 

  • Measure sales performance and KPIs to ensure consistent achievement of sales targets. 

  • Provide regular reports to senior leadership on success metrics, team performance, and overall progress. 

  • Share feedback and insights with the product and marketing teams to influence future product development and marketing strategies. 

Within 1 month, you will: 

  • Get acquainted with our customers, teams, and current strategies 

  • Begin to mentor and guide the sales team. 

  • Start developing the overall sales strategy in line with the company's objectives and business goals. 

Within 3 months, you will: 

  • Establish strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders. 

  • Lead sales strategy for large opportunities. 

  • Implement training plans and conduct training on sales skills, pipeline management, forecasting, Meddpicc, etc 

  • Implement methods to measure partner performance and KPIs. 

Within 6 months, you will: 

  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. 

  • Evaluate and monitor partner performance and KPIs. 

  • Develop and present regular reports to senior leadership on partner success metrics, team performance, and overall progress toward the companies' goals. 

  • Share feedback and insights with the product and marketing teams to influence future product development and marketing strategies. 

Qualifications: 

  • Proven experience as a Director of MSP Sales, or a similar role at a growing company. 

  • Proven experience in Managed Services and Cybersecurity from a growing organization. 

  • Strong understanding of sales principles, best practices, and strategies. 

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. 

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 

  • Experience with CRM systems, and business intelligence tools (We use HubSpot, and PowerBI).  

  • A results-driven mindset, being self-motivated, and possessing excellent organizational skills will enable you to meet and exceed sales targets.
