Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Medical Device Sales Representative to join our dynamic team in a remote capacity, covering the northeastern states of Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Maine. Work-from-home opportunity with 75% travel, this role offers an exciting opportunity to drive sales growth and build strong relationships with Veterans Administration Hospitals across the region. A background in Physical Therapy, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or Chiropractic is ideal.  NO SALES EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.  Electric Stem Devices for Pain Management!  100,000-110,000 target first-year compensation with no cap on commission! 

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets in the assigned territory
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities
  • Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations to showcase our innovative medical devices
  • Provide expert consultation to healthcare professionals on the benefits and applications of our products
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and address any product-related issues
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote our brand and generate leads
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline opportunities in the CRM system
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in medical technology and healthcare regulations
  • Accountabilities:  Reports to the National Director of Govt. Sales, role is accountable to close accounts qualified by Inside Sales through In-Services (demonstrations and negotiation), prior to handoff to Inside Sales for maintenance, and subsequently to expand sales presence in geography through provider and territory expansion. 

     

    Competencies required: Background in Physical Therapy, Nursing, occupational therapy, or Chiropractic ideal.  NO SALES EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

    §  Context: Plan 4 to 6 weeks in advance for “cluster calls” at Veterans, or Sports Facilities, performing product demonstrations (in-services) and closing accounts at the customer and provider level.  Also required to attend industry specific events, e.g., sports conferences, trade shows, sponsorships, special events etc.

    Experience and Skills:

  • +2 years successful similar sales experience, within the United States Department of Veteran Affairs, calling on VAMC and CBOC networks, specifically targeting DME sales into Physical Rehabilitation, Physical Therapy, Orthopedic, Chiropractic and general Pain Therapies
  • Educational/Practical background in Physical Therapy, Clinical (RN/BSN), Biomedical & Emergency services is a big plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in the healthcare or medical device industry
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • In-depth knowledge of medical devices and healthcare industry trends
  • Strong understanding of hospital and clinical environments
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel regularly within the specified states (CT, MA, VT, RI, NH, ME)
  • Medical device sales certifications are preferred
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
